PERSUADER play with the fire extinguisher (30.01.07)
After their highly acclaimed album "When Eden Burns" in 2006, Sweden's PERSUADER are now almost done songwriting for the follow up. In May 2008 Emil Norberg, Jens Carlsson (both also in SAVAGE CIRCUS), Efraim Juntunen and Fredrik Per Hedström will head into the studio.

Lanuching A New Side And E-player (13.05.06)

You are eager to hear the songs. We all know you are. Everybody who knows the voice of Jens Carlsson is. Our Swedish Young Metal Gods Persuader completely re-launched their page Persuader.nu and put up an e-player. Listen to the songs from "When Eden Burns" - they mark a massive climb in comparison to "Evolution Purgatory". Songwriting duo Emil Norberg and Efraim Juntunen found themselves mixing all kinds of styles varying from Black Metal riffing to sweet piano interludes, Kreator-ish guitars and modern sounding choruses into the unique Persuader sound the band has always strived for.

PERSUADER Will Burn Down Umeå (11.04.06)

PERSUADER are confirmed for this year's Kulturnatta Fest in their hometown Umeå and will make it their release party for "When Eden Burns", the follow-up to the highly-acclaimed "Evolution Purgatory". The entrance fee is free, so if you happen to be in the North of Sweden... PERSUADER are not the only Dockyard 1 band to perform there, also confirmed are DREAMLAND who will take a well-deserved short break from the songwriting to the follow-up to "Future's Calling".

When Eden Burns (24.12.05)

PERSUADER, the Swedish winners of the 2003 "Young Metal Gods" Award, are busy recording the official follow-up to the 2004 Sanctuary/Noise release "Evolution Purgatory". "When Eden Burns" is gonna be their third full-length and scheduled for a May 2006 release. Singer Jens Carlsson strained his voice at "Powerhouse" studio in Hamburg/Germany. Guitar player Emil Norberg was joining him for a few days and wrote about it in their studio diary. Watch their "studio movie", a piece of evil home-made fun, together with their producer and SAVAGE CIRCUS band mate Piet Sielck. The studio diary is up on the official Persuader homepage, click on "When Umea burns".

Bonus Added To "The Hunter" (28.09.05)

To some of you this band might only be known as the winner of the 2003 Young Metal Gods Award or two of the boys in SAVAGE CIRCUS. But five years ago they recorded their stunning debut "The Hunter" which made those who listened wanna sign the band immediately. Of all possible partners a very small label ended up being the lucky one, released the debut in France with a few copies – and dissolved in bankruptcy. Now you can finally see the light of this rough diamond. To make it even more valuable without polishing away the energy, we added the songs "Escape" and "Cursed" from the even earlier "Visions and dreams" demo as a bonus.

"This album features some of our best work to date." drummer Efraim says. "It has a real raw and uncompromising sound in some ways, which was pretty unusual for what was mainly called a Power Metal band back then."

"The Hunter" Again (19.07.05)

Somehow it's legendary, the debut of our Swedish lads PERSUADER. Soon "The Hunter" is gonna be re-released, so that you can get a taste of it in case you missed out years ago. PERSUADER spiced it up with several bonus tracks, so be sure to get your copy on the 24th of October.

The songwriting for the next album is almost done and PERSUADER will soon start to record.

PERSUADER finishing new album (09.04.05)

Having just finished two greatly appreciated concerts together with one of Sweden's best Symphony Orchestras, Persuader now has set their sites on finishing the songs for their upcoming album. Due to be recorded this summer, Emil describes the new material as pure Persuader, whatever that means ... Seriously, you should expect a more developed, broader and darker sound from this four piece Sweden-based band. Be sure to keep an eye out for clips and video from the orchestra gig as well.

PERSUADER performing with the Umeå Philharmonic Orchestra (02.03.05)

Persuader will be perfoming with the Umeå Philharmonic Orchestra at the "Demons of the Opera Festival" on the 1-2 of April 2005. Persuader, along with fellow metallers 6th Awakening and Nocturnal Rites, has been given the great honor of doing the performance of a lifetime. During the festival Nocturnal rites, Persuader and 6th Awakening will do a 2 hour metal show accompanied by the symphony orchestra. More info and ticket information is available at www.botniamusik.se.

Persuader at Park Rock Festival (02.03.05)
