EYEFEAR - new line-up (03.07.2009)
Here are some news about the new Eyefear line-up:

We'd like to welcome the newest member of EYEFEAR - Seb Schneider! We are extremely happy to have found someone that not only is he a great musician but will contribute to the writing process for the next album and just as important is a great guy. It really feels like a fresh start with both Seb and Evan now in the band and we are really looking forward to playing some great shows in the next few months and then of course begin writing the next album. Here a few words from Seb himself: "As the new keyboard player for eyefear i feel extremley privileged to have been asked to come on board to replace the awesome sammy giaccotto whose previous work with the band has been phenominal and whose shoes will be challenging to fill. But after many a rehearsal with the boys im sure we'll have a lot of fun and hopefully many more years to create the kind of music eyefear have been recognised for over the last decade. Personally i'm looking forward to bringing a fresh element to the band and can only hope that you guys out there won't be disappointed hope to see you at the shows." (Seb Schneider)

EYEFEAR - reveal album title (05.10.2008)

Australia-based Progressive Power metallers EYEFEAR are not shy being compared with the giants of the Melodic / Power / Progressive Metal territory such as Queensryche, Iron Maiden and Fates Warning. What may sound bold is easy if you're having Danny Cecati (ex-Pegazus) in your ranks - one of the most outstanding singers of the metal scene. However, Eyefear have a sound of their own, and can easily keep up to the aforementioned groups in terms of songwriting and artistical performance. Now the band announced the title of their upcoming 4th album, it will be called "The Unseen" and will see the light of day on November 7!

As a special extra feature EYEFEAR added a video to the song "Dreams" to the album!

Eyefear - in writing mode (20.03.2008)
After supporting Nightwish beginning of 2008 Eyefear have been busy writting songs for their new album. Recordings are supposed to start late March early April. The mix will be done by Tommy Hansen.

EYEFEAR's third album "A World Full Of Grey" was released in summer 2007. In a scene of perfection-lovers EYEFEAR stood up for the high reputation they already earned and took the next step with "A World Full Of Grey". The album was recorded at keyboardist Sammy Giaccotto's studio Peak Time Productions in Melbourne, Australia and was mixed by Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) at Los Angered Studios in Sweden.

Eyefear played Bay Area Rockfest (14.06.2007)
Our Australian Progressive Power Metal band EYEFEAR played an obviously awesome gig at the legendary Bay Area Rockfest in San Francisco lately and were honoured by the presenters in their review: "There were many magical moments starting from the guest appearances of DC Cooper with
EYEFEAR..." Pictures of EYEFEAR playing this very special festival can be viewed here.

EYEFEAR's upcoming album "A World Full Of Grey" will be released on June 25th. Being the third album after "9 Elements of Inner Vision" and "Edge Of Existence" which gave the band already a high reputation in a scene of perfection-lovers, "A World Full Of Grey" symbolizes the next big step forward for Eyefear. The album was recorded at keyboardist Sammy Giaccotto's studio Peak Time Productions in Melbourne, Australia and was mixed by Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) at Los Angered Studios in Sweden. Andy also played two guitar leads on the album.
