Everything on Dreamland's second album is a notch "more" - more melodies, driven by more rhythm and more good old times' spirit. Creating once more the perfect marriage between catchy melodies and straight forward speed-attacks. "Eye For An Eye" is the successor of their 2005 debut "Future's Calling".

While the debut showed the potential and the musicianship of DREAMLAND the band sharpened their own style with their second album. Less “German Metal made in Sweden“, more US Power metal like it was played in the early Eighties.

Think of unforgettable albums like „Under Lock And Key“ or „Back For The Attack“ - if you ever waited for Don Dokken to re-unite with his old guitar player and songwriting side-kick and add an album to this line of classics, you'll have to listen to those young Swedes!

„Eye For An Eye“ must not be missing in any well-sorted collection of Hard Rock and Melodic Metal! With the catchy 'Children of Tomorrow' you can literally see the headbangers in the ballroom before your inner eye. 'Secret Signs' nearly reaches Dokken's classic 'Kiss Of Death'. And not to forget about the ice-melting ballads you will raise your lighter and sway your arms to like 'Reverse Deny' or ‘Spread Your Wings’. Neither the brilliant title track 'Eye For An Eye' - but hey, what else do you expect when you know that no one less but HammerFall singer Joacim Cans is adding his extraordinary skills to the vocal recordings - to even increase the outstanding voice of Joacim Lundberg.

One more thing changed since the debut, Jesse Lindskog (also in Dragonland) took place on the drum stool. He is driving band and album with his ability to vary between pounding double bass and keeping the ballads in time.

Production-wise, Dreamland didn't change the well-tried team of the previous recordings and stuck to well-known producer Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) for the main frame and Joacim Cans of HammerFall fame for handling the production of the vocals.

Dreamland are back with 11 heavy, pulsating anthems that will make you sing not only in the shower for days.
