CRIMSON CULT new signing! (March 19th, 2009)
Imagine you've got a song in your playlist where you don't know the artist. But you're more than keen on finding it out, because the song is the number one of your personal charts.
That's what "Undead" was for us! The track was steadily on repeat in our mp3 player, turned in our ears and was hooked in the head. Every musician and friend who came by had to have a listen, and everybody was sure: We've heard this voice before, and the style of the songwriting is familiar as well.
Until finally Sergeant Chance came in and revealed that this piece of hard-as-steel Heavy Metal belonged to the demo of Austrian "newcomers" CRIMSON CULT. And the songwriting seemed so familiar as former STYGMA IV members Günter Maier (git) and Alex Hilzensauer (bass) were the ones behind those hooklines. The respective demo was awarded "Demo of the Month" in Rock Hard Germany - and deservetly so! Now the debut album "Crimson Cult" is ready...
... and we're gonna give those catchy tunes to you! Let those songs into your ears to never leave you again. If your heart is beating for Power and Speed Metal get ready to lose it to CRIMSON CULT!
