"Mortal Mind Creation" Reviews (03.11.06)

The reviews for "Mortal Mind Creation" are awesome. Look what Germany's Metal Hammer wrote about our Finns:

"Finally there's an European band, which is NOT sounding like Rhapsody even though the ingredients are pretty similar. CELESTY from Finland merge the influences of Helloween and Gamma Ray with orchestral arrangements, solemn voices and progressive elements just like Luca Turilli and his sidekicks. The sixpiece did already hint to what they're able to deliver with their past releases "Reign Of Elements" and "Legacy Of Hate". With "Mortal Mind Creation" Celesty complete the trilogy and distill the best of those previous outputs into a wall of sound of raging speed and diversified songs. The songs are never dully focused on delivering true-to-the-genre speed metal. Celesty follow a red thread of the songs which culminates into the top-notch refrains. Already after two songs you gotta love this album for being hard but melodic and this feeling lasts for the full 45 minutes. CELESTY will have a great future!" Matthias Mineur, Metal Hammer Germany

We expect "Mortal Mind Creation" to see the light of your cd stereo laser on October 23rd, 2006.

Old Guitarist Out, New Guitarist In (24.11.05)

Our lovely Finnish new signing CELESTY had to be sad only for three days ... Shortly after long time guitar player J-P Alanen left the band they were already able to announce the new one. The main reason was that J-P's musical interests have been elsewhere for a long time and Celesty needs more participation and hard work from all the members. Celesty thanks Juha-Pekka for all these years and the fun we have had together. We all wish the best of luck to J-P in his musical career.

The new six-stringer is called Teemu Koskela and is a long time friend of the band. States drummer Jere:

"Teemu was a natural choice for us. We have already started hard work together in rehearsals and Teemu is participating in the composing work as well. We believe that Teemu will bring lot's of new ideas to the songs and sounds in our future albums."

Our Finnish Youngsters Got Signed (28.09.05)

We are proud to announce the addition of CELESTY to our fine artist selection. Those young Finnish guys already released two albums and are big in Japan, so be prepared for epic and melodic progressive metal. But don't underrate the Nothern heritage of CELESTY - there is a lot of darkness from long winter nights in the songs also.

New Album In Spring 2006 (13.08.05)

The new album from Finland's Celesty and the follow up to "Legacy Of Hate" is out on Dockyard 1 in Spring 2006. Celesty are Epic yet dark, progressive yet melodic. Familiar yet completely new.
