"Midnight Tornado" is the successor after the highly acclaimed and awarded debut "Black Nails and Bloody Fists". The debut was great, the follow-up is even better - sure shot with a more thrashy edge. The album shows a more mature band with precise breaks and melodic licks, growls and shouts - made for your home stereo and the moshpit alike.

AS WE FIGHT will bring the "Midnight Tornado" on the road with heavy touring, among others they'll be joining CALIBAN on their fall/winter tour.

"Midnight Tornado" Complete (16.08.06)

A bit exhausted, but totally excited, that's when we heard of Søren directly from the studio: "We just finished recording our new album "Midnight Tornado" and we could not be happier with the result. As the album title suggests, the album moves from 80s thrash riffing to melodic and dirty rock’n’roll with lyrics far more in your face than previously ... We had three fun and productive weeks in the studio with Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere, Machinemade God, Purified In Blood), which was great, since we had enough time to add all kinds of small details to the songs! In a week, Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Kataklysm, Sick Of It All, etc) will start the mixing, and we can’t wait to hear the final result."

Joining Forces With Jacob Bredahl Of HATESPHERE (13.05.06)

A message for all the hardcore-lovers! AS WE FIGHT currently locked themselves away in their rehearsal room to lay the finishing touches on the songwriting of the new album - and they are very happy with it. And so are as we just listened to the first three tracks. Also Søren has good news about the planned recording:

"We’re happy to announce that we have booked studio time for three weeks in June/July at Jacob Bredahl’s Smart'n'Hard Studio. He has produced records for Machinemade God, End Of Days in addition to some stuff for his own bands Hatesphere and Barcode.

Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Himsa, Sick Of It All, Kataklysm) will then mix and master the record in August, and we’re currently planning for a late October release.

AS WE FIGHT Named Denmark's "Best Live Band" & Play FUCK CHRISTMAS (09.12.05)

After their performance at the Danish Metal Awards, an event broadcasted live on Danish National Radio P3, AS WE FIGHT won the DMeA2005 award for "Best Live Band". AS WE FIGHT scored the title against hard competition, among the other nominees in the category were Hatesphere, Mercenary, Raunchy, Volbeat, Barcode and Mnemic.

Now they are already preparing for the next opportunity to vindicate the title as they play Fuck Christmas Festival in Hamburg/Germany on December 17th at Markthalle. AS WE FIGHT will play the MarX stage from 10:30-11 p.m.

New Guitarist & Video (10.06.05)

Our "Danish Dynamite" AS WE FIGHT replaced their old guitar player Michael with a new kid. Called Michael, so none of us has to learn new names. According to Soren he kicks ass skill-wise. They have also posted a new video online, which you can check by clicking on this link. Enjoy!
